We’ll use sound and breath and hand gestures that promote relaxation and a state of deep stillness. Let your love soar with a guided-imagery practice. Select and demonstrate a breathing practice suitable in a clinical setting that can provide relief from anxiety\n2. List and utilize three breathing practices appropriate for a clinical setting that can provide relief from depression\n3. Explain and demonstrate a guided imagery practice that can provide relief from depression\n4. Describe and utilize an evidence-based yoga meditation for mood regulation \nYoga Skills to Enhance Alliance and Compliance! \nConnect from your heart’s mind to your client’s with clinically appropriate\, evidence-based practices. Help clients self-regulate\, manage their energy and their moods. When you guide a yoga skill in a session\, you will find your client has greater focus\, access to feelings\, and is ready to dive deeper into the work of therapy. Learn yoga techniques that can be done in a chair\, right in your office\, that offer you an energy boost and a calm and focused mind\, even as you teach them to your clients.
